Question by boxerelement: How do I get my motorola razr v3 with bluetooth to communicate with my windows xp on my laptop and pc?
I have bluetooth capability on the phone, but do I need special software so the phone will recognize the PC and vice versa? I am interested in transferring photos from phone to laptop and desktop PC. If I buy a bluetooth headset will that serve as a kind of router for a connection to the pcs?

You need to make your PC capable of bluetooth just like you have to make your PC wireless to use wireless router.
Just get a bluetooth adapter for your PC and as soon as you plug it in, you will be able to communicate with your motorola.

Its an example of what it looks like. You just plug it into your USB port. The software is downloadable on the internet or you can get it from Motorola.
Bluetooth headset works with your phone without wires. You just have to set your cell phone to connect with the bluetooth headset and you can use it immediately.

well it depends most work and some don’t but here is how you hook it up
first turn on your bluetooth headset also make sure it is fully charged for best results
go to the settings section and scroll down until you see accessory settings
go to manage bluetooth device and it will say that there is no device registered and will ask you if you want to register one select yes
it will scan for any near bluetooth devices now once it finds it follow the onscreen instructions
it will ask for a pass key and it is usually 0000 once you input it the bluetooth should be registered

Question by Xbox360king: How to prevent having to reset your ps3 to connect a bluetooth headset?
Ok I’ve recently bought a bluetooth headset for my ps3 and it does work but every time i turn it off it wont let me reconnect it without resetting my console! You don’t need to do that and here is what I want you to do, first you need to delete the profile so head to.
Settings > Accessory Settings > Manage Bluetooth Devices > Inside of that delete the profile bye pressing triangle and delete. Its Wireless Headset bye default and if something else then delete all.
Then repair the headset with connecting it to the usb cable which is the best way, you could do the bluetooth way but you lose allot of features. So go with the usb cable and don’t do like fast plug in and out, leave it plugged in for at least 10 seconds.
PS: Plug it direct to the headset don’t go through the cradle, the connector is on top of the headset near the power button.

Best answer:
Answer by hillbilly_boy40383
just connect it to the new phone exactly as you did the old one you dont have to disconnect it the headset doesnt save each phone into memory you can set a single headset to im guessing unlimited phones it connects to which ever is on atm you turn it on.
instructions:
to pair your bluetooth first, turn the bluetooth feature on your phone to on.
Next, hold the call button on your bluetooth until the light begins flashing blue and red, this means it it in paring mode.
Third, find the 2XXplantronics device in your bluetooth options. Select this divice and enter the passcode (0000).
You are now finished and the bluetooth is paired.
