Question by andromeadae: How do I connect my razr v3 to my new Car stereo with bluetooth capability?
My new Car stereo is a Kenwood kdc-mp438u, and it is bluetooth ready, but my phone doesnt find a device. Why isnt it finding it? Everything else is working fine, CD, Ipod, radio etc.

Answer by Sick214 make sure the bluetooth function on the stereo itself is on, refer to the manual for steps.
if it still does not work, try using a friends phone and see if it works.
a friend was having a similar problem with another stereo and another cell phone.. turned out the problem was his cellphone. for some odd reason it would not detect certain bluetooth devices, my guess… his cellphone was too old.

Thief takes stereo, Bluetooth from car
A thief broke the driver’s side window of a car parked in the 100 block of Vine Circle in Athens early Saturday morning and stole a wireless Bluetooth headset and a detachable-face car stereo worth about $700, according to an Athens-Clarke police report.
Sorry i couldent speak in this video as i had family round. On this device you can make calls, receive calls, play/ pause music, skip tracks and change the volume. The range is good as i can leave my phone at my desk, walk around the room and still be listening to it with no interferences. To make calls you have to acctually use your phone but if you hold the centre button for 2 seconds it calls the last person you called. This device has a built in mic next to the audio jack.
